About us

IMMERSIVE YOGA EXPERIENCES

Tesni Yoga WAS CREATED OUT OF A COMBINED LOVE OF IMMERSIVE THEATER EXPERIENCES AND THE POWER OF THE YOGA PRACTICE. OUR GOAL IS TO CREATE YOGA EXPERIENCES FOR GROUPS THAT THOUGHTFUL INCLUDE ALL THE DETAILS OF THE MOMENT FROM THE MUSIC, SIGHTS, SMELLS AND ENVIRONMENT.

Our flavor is light and UPLIFTING! We have seen that when we move and enjoy the moment it gives us the deep OPPORTUNITY to get out of our heads and see things in a fresh way. ExPECT BUMPING BEATS, LIVELY AFTER PARTIES AND EQUALLY THE FREEDOM TO LET THE EXPERIENCE BE YOURS. WE GIVE SPACE TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN LAUGH WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE LAUGHING, REST WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE RESTING. EACH DAY IS DIFFERENT AND OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE THE PLATFORM FOR YOU TO GET WHAT YOU NEED THAT DAY, SOMETIMES BURSTS OF HILARITY AND JOY AND SOME DAYS TO DROP INTO SOMETHING DEEPER.

oUR NAME IS AN ODE TO LIGHT OVERCOMING THE DARK. AND THAT IS WHAT WE ENDLESSLY AIM TO DO! BRING THE LIGHT!

our mission

We create immersive yoga experiences to get out of our head and into the body flow for more clearing and joy!

oUR FOUNDER

Tara Alperin

She has come to see that the simple art of connecting breath to body is one of the most powerful tools we have to transform our energy, our day and ultimately our lives.

Tara has been teaching yoga and dance as well as directing professional performers for over 15 years. Tara ran nunamaana immersive dance theater in austin texas before deep diving into the world of theater, dance and yoga in new york city. In addition Tara has spent her professional career in event planning.

She loves riding the flow of helping people uncover what will be of most benefit to them in their present place. Everything she does is grounded in intuition around what will best serve the unique people in front of her. Her work comes with a grounded yet joyful and sparkly mood.

Tara has been a mover all of her life and believes in the power of movement to help us shift patterns to access more joy and freedom in our lives. She started off as a competitive figure skater, switched that out for the more artistic movement of ballet and contemporary dance and then moved into yoga as a way to heal her body.
